Privacy Policy

Last updated: 19 July 2026

This is a plain-language description of what personal data this website touches and what we do with it. The short version: as little as possible, and none of it for advertising.

Who we are

This website is operated by TEQcloud, a sole proprietorship owned by Quinten de Haard, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK).

  • Trading name: TEQcloud
  • KvK number: 99552434
  • VAT (BTW): NL005394507B47
  • Registered in: Elst, Netherlands
  • Contact: info@teqcloud.net

We are the data controller for any personal data processed via this website.

What we collect

We try to collect as little as possible.

When you visit the website

  • Access logs. This is a static site served through a content delivery network. Standard request information (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp, response status) is processed to deliver the site and to detect and investigate abuse. We do not use these logs to identify or profile visitors, and they are retained no longer than 30 days.
  • Analytics. None enabled at the time of writing. If we add analytics later, we will use a privacy-respecting solution (no cross-site tracking, no third-party cookies) and update this page.
  • Cookies. This website does not set tracking cookies. A functional preference (light or dark mode) may be stored in your browser; it never leaves your device.

When you email us

  • The contents of your email and your reply address. Used to answer you. Retained as long as the conversation is operationally relevant, then deleted on a reasonable cadence.

When you become a client

A separate processing agreement covers the data we handle on your behalf as part of operating your Kubernetes cluster. That is not the subject of this page.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell personal data.
  • We do not share personal data with third parties for marketing.
  • We do not build profiles for advertising.
  • We do not use third-party analytics that track you across the web.

Your rights under the GDPR

If you are in the EU, you have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, email info@teqcloud.net. We respond within a reasonable time, normally within a week.

Where data is processed

The website is served through Cloudflare, a content delivery network with servers worldwide, including in the EU. Cloudflare processes request data on our behalf as a processor under its data processing addendum; transfers outside the EU are covered by recognised safeguards such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

Email is handled by providers with EU-based or GDPR-adequate processing arrangements.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top.
