Outside the retainer
Some work is naturally project-shaped. Same engineer, separate billing.
Project work: €100 per hour
New cluster builds, one-off migrations, custom tooling. Scheduled and quoted up front before any work starts.
Above-retainer hours: €150 per hour
More than your plan covers in a given month, always agreed first. Priced above project work because it is unplanned and bumps the schedule.
Common questions
If yours is not here, ask. We answer real email usually within a business day.
What if we need more hours than the plan includes?
We tell you before any extra hours are spent. Above-retainer hours are billed at €150/hour, only after agreement. We will also suggest moving up a plan if it keeps happening.
How does support work?
You contact us, either via a ticket or an email, depending on the agreement. We read it within business days and start investigating from there: pick up the kubeconfig, find out what is going on, and fix it within your retainer hours. The work itself happens during business hours.
Do you offer 24/7 on-call?
No. We work business hours (typically CET). For genuine 24/7 you need an in-house team or a much larger provider. We will tell you this during the intake rather than pretend otherwise.
Can we mix and match, or do we have to pick a plan?
The plans differ in hours and cadence, not in what we are allowed to do. A plan is a block of hours, not a locked feature set. You do not need a plan at all: one-off work like a migration, a build or a cluster audit can stand on its own.
Do you write our Helm charts or build our pipeline?
No. We do not author your charts, Dockerfiles or application. We operate the delivery you already have, rolling out the values and images you hand us. We work with your existing tooling, for example ArgoCD, FluxCD or Azure DevOps.
Can you advise on architecture or a setup we are planning?
Yes, from the Kubernetes seat. We look at what you actually need and what you already run, then propose something that fits. On the DevOps plan, surfacing those proposals is part of the retainer; you decide what we act on. Larger design work is scoped as a project rather than absorbed silently into it.
Do you host the cluster for us?
No. Your Kubernetes runs on your cloud account or your hardware. We manage it. This means no vendor lock-in. If you leave us, you keep everything.
What is in the cluster audit?
A written report covering control plane health, node and workload state, networking and ingress, certificates, RBAC, secrets handling, backup status, observed risks, and a prioritised list of what to fix first. Fixed price, paid once. A deeper audit aimed at a specific concern is project work, billed per hour.
How do we pay?
Monthly invoice from the Netherlands, paid by bank transfer to our IBAN, quoting the invoice number. VAT handled per your country of registration.
Can we cancel?
Yes, with one calendar month notice. In practice the next whole month becomes your last: it is billed in full and yours to spend on handover or continued work. We hand over documentation and access cleanly. We do not believe in retention through friction.
Are prices excluding VAT?
Yes. Prices on this page are excluding VAT (BTW). Dutch and EU VAT rules apply depending on your registration.
Still unsure which plan fits?
Send a short description of your setup. We'll suggest the smallest plan that actually covers you.
